how to store air compressor when not in use?
 

When not using an air compressor are there any tricks to storage? My compressor ( horizontal 20 gal. ) is in my garage. When not in use I generally leave air in the tank is that O.K.? I know to drain the tank of water from time to time but do you have to do anything else?SmileWavy

If no air is immediately needed. Drain the system completely to prevent condensation and rust.

Make sure you drain out all moisture, the tanks rust from the inside out even in dry climates.
