Help me ID this Porsche Factory Fountain Pen

A few years ago, a friend of mine came back from Germany and presented me with this pen. He said it was from the Porsche Museum. Has anyone else ever seen one of these? If so, does anyone have any idea of the value of this pen?

On the top of the cap it is inscribed with the name "Arthus and Bertrand".

Thanks for any help!

Never seen one, but it looks like one of those things you can get at the factory gift shop and nowhere else.

Unusual.

Arthus Bertrand is a well known French wildlife photographer interested in green causes. He has also raced factory Porsches in high profile events from time to time.

So perhaps Porsche decided to honor him with a commemorative pen.

Not sure, but I think you have the wrong Bertrand.

You are thinking of Yann. I'm thinking the Bertrand referenced on the Pen cap is Claude.

You may be right.

But the Arthus Bertrand I'm thinking of also started a company that sells "green" products. All kinds of things from paper to bicycles. I thinks it's called "green planet" or "happy planet" or some such thing.

Could be that Porsche designed a green pen for him? That would explain the wooden box etc.

But who knows? I've collected pens for a while but have never seen one of these.

Thanks for the input.

I'm hoping I can salvage my 101K with it.
