Pelican posted picture search ?
After my hard drive crashed I lost some pics I posted on Pelican.
anyone know how to search for pics only ? someone posted a how-to a few years ago. Had something to do with using jpg in the search section. That's all I know. thx

Do a search for "jpg" or the other formats accepted by the board.

Do an advanced search by .jpg or .gif and your user name.

Do a search on "[img]"
actually, this used to work....doesn't seem to now. Search on jpg didn't work for me.

Sorry to hear that. I use Carbonite, and have a 120 Gig backup hard drive, you can get one for like $100.

By seraching by file extension do you need to know the name of the picture or just key words in the thread which happen to have pics in them?

I tried all suggestions to no avail.
