I fail to see how an entertaining video of some guy playing around in his car relates to "suburban white boys who think they are thugs".

That "suburban white boy who thought he was a thug" co- founded DC shoes, made his millions, and now (at age 41) has fun participating in rally america and burning up tires making entertaining videos for his company DC shoes and his sponsor subaru.

Count me in on that one too. It may not be true racing but there is absolutely no doubt that there is serious skill there.
