It took me five months to sell my 951, and it was never in an accident. The market for them has all but evaporated.
When I was shopping for 951s (2004-2005), they seemed to all sell before I had a chance to look at them.

Dealer plates?
Zip tied airbox? Steering wheel falling apart, map pockets falling apart etc.... Hardly what i'd call show condition.

It would make a great starter for a track car but if you are stretching to buy a 951 at $6,000, you can't afford to maintain it, expecially when you know it needs some work up front.

The whole kid gave me deposit and is trying to sell his car blah blah blah... That just sounds odd. Then there is the damage, Or lack thereof. Not visible at all and he kinda dodges that in the question about it. And will a 951 run 60 in first before the rev limiter kicks in?

I could hit 47 in first at the red line.

"The bodyman did a repair to an area under the passenger side wheel well "
"The alignment is a bit off although I have driven this Porsche well over 100 MPH after this happened. I'm sure there may be other damages that I am not qualified to assess. " So it could be just knocked out of alignment, a bent wheel, bent tie rod, a bent a-arm or mounts, bent strut, bent shock tower?????? |

Things that don't look right to me:
- Wrong badge on the nose. The letters are supposed to be gold and someone replaced it with the newer ('95+) kind. Which leads me to... - See the gap at the hood and right-hand side headlight? It doesn't get like that on its own and isn't just a small repair to the wheel well. Those headlights are a royal pain to align. That + the wrong crest on the nose means something happened up there, and with the alignment being off I really wonder. - zip tie around the air box - lots of miles, especially for the price On the plus side, somebody does detail cars well.
