Hey Kurt V!!!!!

Hey Kurt, not trying to be nosy, but , I just saw where Max is a little under the weather in his hips, and hind legs.

My lab mix was having the beginnings of the same problem, we got him some "Pro-Pet Glucosamine Advanced Chronic Care". He now runs and prances around the back yard like he was a puppy again. He hasn't done that in , literally, years. Labs quite often get Displasia (arthritis in dogs), and Reggie had all the signs, and a big knot on his hip joint. I could tell a difference in two days, and now three weeks later, the knot is gone.

We got it at WalMart of all places.

Maybe it will help, and maybe it won't, but I thought I would throw it out there if there was a chance. What ever it is, I hope Max gets over it soon!

Wow, thanks for the post. I had the vet check out Max. No displasia, more like just getting old. I will get him some tonight! Hopefully old Max will still have a few good years left in him.

Wanted to bump up this thread and thank lm6Y for this thread. We have been giving Max the glucosamine for 4 months now and it really has helped. Not a miracle cure as he still has some rough days, but he is acting more like his old self again. We take our walks together every night and you can see he is enjoying himself again.

I have a friend that put one of her labs on that stuff - works great. I used to take it for my knee and found it to work as well. My wife said it was all in my head until we heard about that dog - it ain't in the dogs head!

That's great news guys!

I think if I ever get re-incarnated, I want to be a Pelican's puppy!
