Driving with a dog on your lap????
Sorry for the rant, but what the heck is the deal with people that allow a small lap dog on their lap while driving? I got stuck behind some blue hair with a yappy lap dog thing on her lap looking out the window last night. She was doing easily 10 miles under the speed limit. I was in the 911, and it doesn't like going that slow.
People complain about cell phone users, but I would think this is much worse. Thank god I don't live someplace where lots of people go to retire! I have two dogs, and I do take them in the back of the Tahoe from time to time, but by no means would they ever be on my lap. Bill |
i bet a lap dog makes a decent supplement to the airbag. i see it all the time.

People are idiots. Does that explain it?

And they reinforce the assertion daily. |
I remember when me and my two younger brother were kids. There were no seat belts in the cars and we were all over the interior while driving. I even remember sitting in my dads lap holding the wheel on the road.
And my father is a pediatrician too.. |
It probably would have been more disturbing if it were a seeing-eye dog.
|
My wife thought it was cute how her chow puppy did it... then not so cute when he was no longer a puppy and still did it...
/rip BEAR... |
Dog no, now my wife in my lap while driving......
|
My cousin was driving with her dog in her lap when it saw something, began barking and took a wee on her. She got distracted and drove over a cliff in British Columbia. My uncle died and she's a paraplegic.
I saw a teenage driver just this morning with her dog in her lap and her cellphone to her ear - weaving from lane to lane. It makes me want to force her to the shoulder and just redline. |

"What, does the dog bark once when he needs to take a left and twice when he needs to take a right?" |
If that makes you mad, Bill, then let me tell you about Progressive Insurance's "Pet Injury supplementary Coverage.":(
http://auto.progressive.com/progressive-car-insurance/pet-injury-coverage.aspx What Is Pet Injury Coverage? Pets are part of your family, so they deserve to be covered by your auto insurance, too — that's why your Collision coverage extends to your dog or cat. Pet Injury coverage comes complimentary with your Collision coverage, and if your dog or cat is injured in an accident while riding with you, we'll pay up to $500 to help you with their veterinary bills and medicine. I don't know if the coverage only appllies if your pet is wearing his/her supplementary restraint system or not. |
Fk you BSiple that was me wearing a wig and pretending to be Norman again...

My buddy's "driving lap dog" either jumped on him or on the steering wheel. It distracted him enough to cause him to swerve into the center island and fuch up his wheel/tire/suspension, on his VW Cabriolet, no less. He called me for a ride.
Of course, it will always get brought up from time to time. |
Hahahaah Tabs, if you have one of you dogs on your lap I definitley won't try stealing any of your spoons.
Now the whole dressing up as your mom bit, well, lets just say that is TMI. |

Your whole wife in your lap or just head? Errr, I mean her head.
|
I like driving, I like dogs. I don't like driving with dogs.
or flying with them either. |
