How much money do you donate to charity?
On a yearly basis. This does not include anything you give to the government (welfare, etc)

I have to brag on my people at work: for Safe Place, they donated $1800.00--mind you, only 32 employees. The company (my partner and I) match dollar for dollar.
Think people with secure jobs are feeling pretty grateful nowadays, me included.

I answered this with the average amount I usually claim on my tax return as charitable contributions. Is that the question here?
I do not donate much in terms of cash but a lot of our unused or obsolete items go to charity. Often this is quality stuff that you could also sell on Ebay or on Craigslist. George |

give $15 weekly to the church, plus the many police charities that come our way at work quite often (unfortunately) , plus good will donations. so I was over $2k last year with receipts...

I only give to my church and they give to others. I also give clothing/household stuff to Purple Heart. Every year we give to local clothing drives, I NEVER give cash to panhandlers... I NEVER give to anyone who comes to my door.
