Is hanging a Christmas Tree upside down the sign of the Devil?
I had a tenant years ago in Vista, CA that hung his tree upside down, is this a sign of the devil? He left in the middle of the night screwing me out of 2 months rent, I hope he rots in hell.

10 seconds and Google explains it all. It's not "satanic", and it's apparently quite popular now.
Yep.
It all started when a retailer (Target, IIRC) decided to hang Christmas trees from the ceiling to maximize floor space and still have easy-to-see ornament displays. Some people thought this was really cool and copied it. Now, a few year on, there are special upside-down tree "kits" that are being sold. But yes, it does seem to be mostly the attention whores who do it... |
The tree was right-side-up, just the rest of the house was upside-down.
How do tell a Christmas tree from a Kwanzaa or Hanuka tree?
some of you people are vertically biased.
It's upside down so they could fit all the presents they bought with the money they were going to pay you for rent.
Probably not, but me and my family was almost thrown out of Saudi Arabia for putting up a toy Santa at Christmas. Religious reasons. Of course. Duh..
That wasn't a Christmas tree. :D
Yes, it's the anti-Claus.
Only if you sharpen the trunk and impale a virgin on it.
There are no virgins in Vista. Believe me. They've all been... um... "impaled" already.
