How kind are you?

What's the kindest and/or most generous thing you've ever done for someone?

gassy 12-05-2008 01:20 PM

Let a few guys live.

Helped a cousin get set up after her painful divorce...$ for apartment, etc.

Guess that's it lately...terrible to admit, but I generally like animals better than people. My favorite charity is the local no-kill shelter.

I let people merge in front of me on the freeway.

I helped out at a place that feeds homeless people a few times, I should look into doing that again.

fingpilot 12-05-2008 01:32 PM

I put the seat back down.

Porsche-O-Phile 12-05-2008 01:32 PM

Flush.

Occasionally.

Waiting for an act of kindness here...could somebody please push Tabbydoll down the stairs? :D

Tidybuoy 12-05-2008 01:39 PM

Flicked a cig out the window....made sure it went over the bum standing on the corner looking for a freebee.

I stand in the cold and freeze every night so that people who didn't make their car payment can get thier items out of their car before i take it.

mike55 12-05-2008 01:44 PM

I can see where this thread is going...... good thing the seat is down.

For me, it's the Troop Calls effort for sure. For those in need of atonement, and it looks like there are a few, it's not too late :)

That's not kindness. It's a legal duty. State law requires you to allow owners to retreive their personal belongings from the car.

m21sniper 12-05-2008 02:02 PM

Not on the scene it doesn't. I can make them come get it at my facility at my convenience. I also don't have to knock and offer them the chance to surrender their keys lest i have to tow the vehicle, thereby saving them hundreds of bucks on an emergency tow fee, either.

Rikao4 12-05-2008 02:03 PM

he lets them take it BEFORE the car rolls into the night..

that is kind..
most of these folks wake up and it's gone..
no clue where or who..
once in the yard..you crap is treated as crap.

Not talk to people...

In paticular Lubby and Moses...

I don't eat dead animals. It doesn't matter. If I did, it would only be a few ounces of the slaughter. I let insects and spiders go about their business, but I draw the line at fleas and flies. ;)

Porsche-O-Phile 12-05-2008 02:11 PM

It's probably a smart move from a tactical standpoint too - if you approach/treat people as human beings and let them see you as a human being who's just "doing a job" and even "doing them a favor" it probably helps to eliminate potential conflicts. Smart, IMHO.
