Who Killed the Electric car? by Sony Pictures

I just rented the DVD, the movie was better than I expected. Much better than the last three movies I rented in fact.

Click on "trailer".

Damn you for posting Porsche automotive history!
Unfortunately most people these days don't want to hear anything that causes the slightest ripple in their perfect world Kach.
Complete Lala time via selective hearing.

I watched this last night. It is a well made documentary. They look at the limitations of the technology along with the progress made. Battery technology can get you the range you need now. They answer the pollution trade off if coal fired plants were used to generate the necessary elctricity. The electric car would be the best way to get around. It's just a tough sell to get the public to change. It's tougher to get industry to change. This should run during prime time, just once, before the big three go asking for money.

The guy who made that movie is making another film about the re-emergence of the electric car. Should be interesting...
