Man, I wish I had a Dunn Bros. nearby. I would never had bothered buying my machine. The one on Grand in St Paul is my second favorite coffee shop on the planet.

It’s another slippery slope – once you get the machine and grinder, home roasting is next…

I have a basic Nespresso Unit. I hate dealing with grounds, grinding and cleaning, so these capsules are the best.

My chef friend that is really picky about the taste of his Espresso, and typically an Illy user, switched to this unit:

And to froth the milk, he swears by their Aeroccino:

I paid almost $30 for mine.

Five years and used just about everyday except when away...no problems...so Salvatore is still my choice.

No Doubt! Dunn Bros is the bomb!

Luis, I am truly grateful for the offer and it is extremely generous. The reality is that I've been working 60-80 hour weeks recently with a lot of travel between the coasts and if a new proposal gets funded I don't see that changing at least through April of next year. Any project like this would sit on the counter collecting dust...I'm lucky if I have the energy to do laundry :)

I know how you feel. I stopped using it when I went consulting. Well 14 years later, moved to Europe, NJ/NY and now Orange County, and still no time to fix it myself.
Maybe I should find a the time but kids, family, work and Pcar are enough!:(
Time is so much more valuable than $..

I still highly recommend the automatic coffee machines that do all the work. They require cleaning every now and then, but really come through in the mornings when you are too tired to make a perfect brew...:D

In an office environment they were perfect - everyone had their own choice of coffee and paid for it themselves. Clean up is simple, so a shared machine stays in good shape.
That's all I know about espresso! ;)

I have to admit, when I go to an office or stay at hotel that has a Nespresso, I really get excited. Nice quick brew!!;)

They have the inkjet printer philosophy: Sell you a good machine for cheap and get it back through the cartridges. The quality of the nespresso coffee is hard to beat out of such a small machine. Crema is outstanding to the point where I have wondered if they don't add a little chemistry to help it along. ;)

I have a 25 year old basic Krups model, that still works, so I still use it. I think I paid $30 for it. I like putting some white chocolate chips in the milk when I steam it, works even better if you hit the milk with the white chocolate chips in the microwave for a minute or two, turns out a little better
