Gun owners think they are inadequate?

So I'm reading Guns & Ammo, and there are 3 ads, right hand side of the page, in a row, for Extenze, or similar stuff.

What gives? It's not just 911 owners? Gun Owners too?

Do people with 911s and guns have the teeniest winkies?

I attribute it to the fact that most people that can afford either are older.

porsche4life 12-15-2008 07:36 PM

Its that stereotype about overcompensation for something that is too small.

varmint 12-15-2008 07:41 PM

always curious about the psychology of someone who spends an in ordinate amount of time trying to diminish the size of someone else's genitals.

and what does i say about their own privates?

pwd72s 12-15-2008 09:31 PM

You can see the same type ads in Car and Driver, Road and Track....does this mean that car guys are...?

Shooting in Butte , Montana
Shotgun preteen vs. illegal alien Home Invaders :

Butte, Montana November 5, 2007

Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11 year old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home.

It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana , and Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine.

Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.

Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.

When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive.

It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45 caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest

Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news........an 11 year old girl, properly trained, defended her home, and herself......against two illegal immigrants.......and she wins, she is still alive.

Now that is Gun Control !

Cool story, but I would think the recoil from a mossberg 500 would knock an 11 year old girl on her ass.

livi 12-16-2008 04:06 AM

Then I suppose I regard myself as semi-adequate. I own a Porsche but no guns.

exc911ence 12-16-2008 06:18 AM

I can't even imagine a fatal wound to the genitals!

onewhippedpuppy 12-16-2008 06:31 AM

I know I'm inadequate.:)

berettafan 12-16-2008 07:21 AM

More than adequate and i own guns and a 911.

HardDrive 12-16-2008 07:43 AM

I am perfectly happy with my angry inch.

Bill Douglas 12-16-2008 09:32 AM

I sort of agree with it.

I got a 410 shotgun when I was about 9 so my equipment must have been pretty minimal then. BUT by the time I got the 911 I'd grown into my new lifestyle.

vash 12-16-2008 01:01 PM

harddrive! an inch??!!! wow ;)

anyways, it is about playing the odds. gun mags, tend to have more men readers. we are the ones with the penises. just playing the odds.

red-beard 12-16-2008 01:04 PM

It just seemed odd....

SLO-BOB 12-16-2008 05:54 PM

Same thing at the back of most car mags. They were stacked 4 deep in The issue of "Automobile" that I was reading while waiting for my kid at the orthodontist. Made me feel small. :(

GWN7 12-16-2008 06:23 PM

Market demographics.....same reason our host asks where we heard about Pelican from

WOW! I only have 0.223" but it does seem to offer adequate penetration for most instances.

RWebb 12-16-2008 08:23 PM

you are inadequate if you own a mossburger
