debt free
WWWOOOOOHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
NewYear bonus arrived Finally got rid of the last bits of the dent in my finances, brought on by that whore of a car, that sweet looking thing that taste like sour milk... True, i did it to myself, but the darn thing didn't help one bit, despite the tlc, it kept on costing money... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1229459120.jpg So long biotch !! may you rust in hell! now it's time for some hookers and blow ! |
Congratulations, The best way to live. Now did the cars need a lot of repairs or were you just baselining your car and overindulged.
|
Congrats! There's no better place to be.

bought it when i was was a total n00b at wrenching at cars, and the thing turned out to be a total pos... but always kept going hoping it would get to a decent shape. it was afteral, an S, and as such it was supposedly of value...but it was a total write off and i should have known better then to buy an old Porsche when at best i knew how to change a tire and check the oil...
Good lesson though... i can take apart engines now...replace brakes, work on suspension, fix electrical gremlins, hang doors, tune mfi, and then some... |
Stijn... are you saying that you sold that sweet ride?
"So long biotch !! may you rust in hell!" |

picture does not do it justice, it's a pos. car bought for 16 k engine rebuild with all parts worn out + mfi rebuild and whatnot = 14 K rust and paint work ,and some other crap 5k then the little bits... i won't add em all up... ultimately sold for 18 k |
Maybe somebody can Photoshop it for you... perhaps some smoke emanating from the rear.
|
Sell it to Jake (Notfarnow), he will ensure that it will BURN in hell.:p
|
i only owe on my house, which ironically, is depreciating like my car..
|
You need to experience debt to understand how great it is to be free of it. Unfortunately I haven't yet.:(

i'll need some details of your finances, and power of attorney. |
Congrats!
Nothing better than to be FREE, FREE AGAIN!!! |
Almost there credit card wise. Other than that, the bills keep coming for the rest of life's necessities, like utilities.

Excellent news, Stijn!

Just in time, grandma's house is empty now...
it's the only warm place i knew when i grew up, so i migh go for that... it'll require a mortgage, but realistically, it's better to get mortgage on a decent house with low interests, that doesn't require me to stretch my budget as the mortgage would be about the same as my rent now, better that , then to put it in a savings account at low interests, or to get screwed over by banks and investor scum on the stock exchange.... |

It is great you are considering buying your Grandma's place, nice to have a bit of history remain in the family... I imagine it will need some redecorating.... Keep some cash free for that! I have found that it is good to live in a house for a while so you can really get to know what it needs. You don't want to renovate the same house twice... I have been debt free for almost a year now. No mortgage, no car payments.. I just need to be more disciplined to save more.... |
Stijn, now that you're debt free, why not buy yourself a nice little European country? Maybe that quaint 'burg to the north? ;)
So, you guys with paid off mortgages, how did you celebrate the paid off note? :) |
The idea is to buy with mortage
paint some walls and do some low cost diy stuff to get it livable (emotionally) then update things after some time with cash money the mortage will also get me tax detuctibles that i don't have now so will the update things |
