I'm just curious if you guys put up as many or more lights, beads, bangles and ornaments as we U.S. people do...

I doubt it. But still, I have hope someone in the world has outdone some of our overbearing displays.

What's Christmas?

Some people in New Zealand get obsessed about their Christmas displays and spend about 6 months setting up their houses with the best lighting show in town.

But I believe you guys are the champions at having whole houses lit up, and all the houses in the street competing.

well, if the oil sjeiks in the middle east cared about it, they would have all of you outstaged easily...

Gold xmas trees, platinum xmas trees,
real babies in lifesize xmas stable scenes, importing snow by the boatload
Hell, they'de probably launch a satelite with some kind of light show to simulate the xmas star and whatnot..

Nothing fancy I am afraid. A tree, a few candles and lots of Glögg which is a traditional low-medium alcohol spiced hot drink. Makes you really "round beneath the wooden clogs" as we say in Sweden. :D
