Car with best exhaust note?

Lately, I find myself lusting after a Merc SL55 with its badass exhaust sound. Unfortunately, SL55 pricing is surprisingly strong, and I find myself wondering what else is out there. Can anything match the burbling exhaust and supercharger whine? The machine sounds like a thousand angry horses. jurgen

Ran into an acquaintance last night who had his brand new F-430 w/ Tubi exhaust with him. Sounded insane driving away, of course he gave me some tire and exhaust sounds. What a freaking car.

I like the sound of a Ferrari, but I'm also partial to a 3.2 Carrera with a 2in/2out.

Carrera GT is amazing.

I've never heard a V-12 anything that sounded bad, ferrari, lambo, whatever.

Most any old sportscar with Carbs and no cat.

Almost any and every Ferrari sounds amazing.

For Ferrari sounds, this is hard to beat. I'm sure that you've all seen it several times, but I never tire of watching it.
