I hate cat barf

just saying

Porsche-O-Phile 12-30-2008 04:15 AM

At least it dries up quickly and can be scraped up/removed without too much difficulty.

It's better than human barf. By far.

It's best when it's still warm & squishy. Yum. Yum.

...and when the head of the previously eaten mouse is staring back at you.

Better than waking up at four in the morning from the sound of your three year old daughter vomiting all over the bed..

The only thing worse than watching, is not knowing it threw up and stepping in it, in bare feet.

Our personal best was my wife's 7 year old son (future ex-Room Monkey #1) leaning over the back of the couch & heaving into her open briefcase.

The last time it occurred I noticed my gag reflex was still working.

With maple syrup.

I think it's worse in socks.

Good point. I never thought of that. Finally, a way to use all of that stupid maple syrup that everybody gives me . . .

Ian

Send it here. As long as it's real. It's impossible to find honest-to-goodness REAL maple syrup anywhere in Southern CA - at least in my experiences. It's all the pseudo-syrup crap that's really just corn syrup with some brown color and fake flavoring in it. Yeech.

It's real. The only weak link is the supermarket-bought bottle on the left. We use it once or twice a year for pancakes.

That's the good stuff - one thing I miss about New England. At least my in-laws send us a bottle or two every Christmas, but it's usually gone by April or so...

I went on a vacation for about 2 weeks not too long ago, and when I came back there was a nice line of dried cat barf running down the side of my guitar amp.

Another time, a big cockroach came out of nowhere, so I ran and got a cat of raid and saturated that nasty thing. And so what does my cat do? She comes out of no where and pounces on it, biting it, etc. I got it away from her asap, but the damage was done. She was barfing all over the place for a good 10 minutes (but was okay afterwards).

I second the hating of cat barf.

PM me your address. I will bring the tin on the right (newest acquisition for snowblowing my ancient neighbor's drive) to Vegas next week & I will ship it to you if I get the chance. It will just grow crystals here . . .

a cat dry heaving (or wet heaving) is the one sound on the planet that instantly wakes me up.
it happened last night. she was good enough to puke up on a towel i had dropped on the floor. hosed it off this morning, an into the washer with my car washing towels.

cats are gross, sometimes.

Ever have a dog, who eats his own poo, throw up on the bed? That will ruin your whole night, believe-you-me.

I'm OK with your cat barfing. Happy New Year. :)
