Much needed vacation :) Luzern Switzerland now; next we're off to Paris for a week!

So how much does it cost?

syncroid 01-02-2009 01:19 PM

I went with the 200 channel package, with internet, voip phone service...etc. Basically everything but my cell phone included for $105 a month.
Brandon, Have fun on your vacation.

I just called to cancel my dish network. It took a half hour.

They first offered me $10 off per month to stay, then $20, and I told them they should have made that offer last month when I called. Now it's too late, my ATT uverse HD is up and running already.

We bundled the telephone, internet, and TV and also upgraded to HD with the DVR and still ended up saving about $17 a month. Plus they threw in a bunch of premium channels for three months free.

When/if it becomes available, I will be switching.

What is your new internet speed?

We have had UVerse for over a year now and we love it. We have the 400 channel TV service and enhanced Internet service, but not phone (yet).

Im moving soon, so I just canceled my uverse. it was great for almost 2 years. I think it's still the best deal out there.

By the way, they are extremely easy to deal with when/if you decide to move. All I did was take my DVR and the Wireless Modem to the UPS store, and they boxed and shipped it back. No cost to stop the service, no cost to send the equipment back. Easy as can be...

I ended up staying with DirecTV. I was so put off by AT&T's customer service that I told them to punt. I wasted an entire day for the bozos to show up for the install and they never showed. I spent half of that day on the phone getting the run around from customer service. I made another call to DirecTV and got my bill cut down AND some premium channels for free for the next six months. The only bad part of staying with DirecTV is that I wanted an upgraded DVR and had to forfeit my Tivo service to do it. I do miss Tivo. Still getting used to the new DVR.

Nine. Hilarious.

We have two. 42" LCD in family room. 27" tube (old) in study. None in bedrooms or living room or kitchen etc.

Is it that many? One in the living room, one in the master br, one in the son's br, one in the office, that's four right now. Eventually we might have one in the other current br, and we're adding 2 brs, a new office, and a kids room downstairs.<br>

Do you guys not have TVs in your bedrooms?
