i just watched all the recent stooges DVDs and ron asheton interview. he sounded great. now he is dead

iggy is actually a very healthy individual now days. i can only dream of being in such good shape when im in my 60's.

American rocker Iggy Pop a.k.a James Newell Osterberg, Jr. has revealed the secret behind his great physique Tai Chi and a beautiful girlfriend.

Despite, early years of drug abuse and injuring himself during shows, the lead singer of The Stooges still manages to look fit and lean.

The veteran rocker, 61, practices this form of Chinese martial arts regularly.

He has revealed that he discovered the art in his forties.

Most of it’’s due to a benefactor in New York City , a tai chi master named Don Ahn. About 20 years ago I saw footage of people doing that stuff in the park, Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

“I also have a slamming girlfriend,” he added. (ANI)

Yeah last time I saw him he was pretty buffed. He always was a wirey guy. Saw him many times in his and my drug days along with the 5.

Same. I was friends with all the Dead Boys also. I was to be their bassist but home got in the way of being able to commit, so I turned them on to a friend of mine Jeff Halmagy, A.K.A. Jeff Magnum. The rest you know.

Just as well. Given my lifestyle at that time, I would be as dead as Stiv.

I would really have to dig, I've moved so many times since then, winter project maybe.
There was a girl in Cleveland at the time Anistasia Pantsious (SP) that has TONS of photos from all the old Cleveland days. Yeah it was a prime time to be playing in Cleveland.
