Looking for a good vaction spot with the kids

Hi,

We're looking for a vacation spot with warm weather and sandy beaches for our anniversary. We will have two 5 year olds in tow. We are looking for suggestions, or if you have a rental property at somewhere that fits the bill even better.

We love Hawaii, but need something different. It has to be safe to explore and have good stuff for the bride and I as well as the kids to do.

And if you live there and drive a p-car I'll buy you a beer

Thanks

Yeah sorry Bob, I've never been much of a sit on the beach guy. We did Disneyland about 14 times as the kids were growing up; they always loved that and we always knew what to expect. Lotsa fun and memories.

You're always welcome at the Shuswap June to Sept, we have a beach and we drink beer

Thanks guys,

Thanks Rob nice thought, I will have to drive out there one of these days. As far as not sitting on the beach, why have a house on the beach?

Anyway, my wife wants tropical, and I only sit on the beach to watch the kids I'd rather be kayaking, snorkling, etc.

I thought about Disneyland/world, but I think the kids are just a little too young still.

Keep those cards and letters coming

San Diego?

The zoo@Balboa park+museums, the beach, shopping/entertainment downtown and at the waterfront, sea world, Coranado.

And mega golf if you are into that.

Cruise? Pick the right line and plenty of stuff to do with the kids plus stuff for the adults, good restaurants, health club, spa for Mom, sun, pool, etc.

Bob, it would be great to have you and those twin turbos out for a visit!
As far as sitting at the beach; well maybe for a morning coffee, but that's about it.
We play pretty hard all summer, non-stop.

Now if you have a beer in your hand; well, I don't classify that as sitting?
Have fun on your sun seeker holiday!!

There are some bargains out there right now. Look for deals at all inclusive clubs. No matter where you go, Mexico, PR, DR, Jamaica, if you're at an all-inclusive it's going to be nice. Sun, beach, water, free booze and food, what's not to like?

I'm heading to Buenos Aires in 2 weeks. Cheap fares through Air Canada right now and one can rent apartments there for $125 a night.
