Quick Update......
 

First let me say thanks to all the Pelies that contributed to my "Tell me about Colorado" and "Tell me about Portland Oregon" threads. The replies were much appreciated and useful in helping me make some personal decisions. First off, after submitting about 50 (seriously) applications, I was contacted in reference to a local teaching position which I accepted and have been doing since the begining of December... I was contacted in reference to the Beaverton position about the middle of December and reluctantly turned it down since the company would not offer any type of moving package. As far as I know I am still in the running for the Colorado position as I do not believe it has been filled as of yet... A couple of days after turning the Beaverton job down, I was contacted about a Govt. position out of San Antonio.... I have accepted this position and will be relocating there next weekend.... I have already put in my 2 week notice at the college and wouldn't you know it I was contacted in reference to another position today.... I am in no way tooting my own horn, but you guys that have gotten laid of recently need to remember that it takes alot of work and alot of patience for the calls to come in.... I started putting out applications in July and only got hired on in December.... Keep the faith and stay positive!!!! They are out there, you just have to find them....


I hope the San Antonio guys have cars and coffee events!!!! If not, at least I am closer to the Bid D and H-town.SmileWavy
