How can that be real? Can you really go 70-80mph on a skateboard?

It's real... real dumb.

Not 70-80mph though. No more than half that, probably less. Looks faster because the camera is down low. Don't watch the road, look at the approach speed of the oncoming cars.

I love it. Nothing like concrete, beautiful.

Went about 20 the other day trying to catch my dog. Speed wobble, visions of insurance bills, brown underwear, etc... I will never do that again, just let the dog go.

Sorry, but I didn't see any "violent dangers" those morons had to "endure" that was not brought upon them by their own astounding stupidity and pathological desire to hurt themselves.

stevepaa 01-13-2009 07:29 AM

who was doing the camera??

GG Allin 01-13-2009 07:32 AM

How does the guy guy with the camera film and watch the road at the same time? He's the true nut.

I have a friend who was a "street luger". They would hit 60-70 mph constantly. He ate it on Templin Hwy and compounded his leg, career ending injury. No money making to speak of, just some X Games and a Mountain Dew commercial.

The CHP found an almost dead body lying next to the road near my house a couple years back. Little Tajunga Canyon is well traveled by the sport bike crowd so they spent several hours trying to find his bike. Turned out he was on a skate board.
