Anyone close to Union City, NJ?

Anyone in the area that has the time and ability to:

look at a used 4Runner for me, at the least drive it around, get a sense of the truck, see if 4WD works, etc.

perhaps be able to keep it in a driveway for a few days before I come down by train and pick it up if it's a good truck.

I'm 2 towns over from Union, NJ and I can probably have a look almost anytime in the next coule of days. I'll say I'm probably the only guy on the planet without any 4 wheel drive SUV experience though. Just never had a need for one.
The owner or I can drop by my non-Porsche mechanic for him to look it over for you if you want? It would cost around $100 and he has time Monday or Tuesday, I just need to give him a day's notice so he plan the time while we wait.
If you just want a seat of the pants appraisal, I can certainly handle that any time you want to set it up and I can even take some pictures if you want them.
As for driveway storage, that probably wont be a big deal with the wifey as long as we are talking under a week to 10 days and it isn't leaking any fluids.

Thank you Rob! I've left a message with them, just looking for a seat of the pants appraisal, you don't get much in a $1000 4Runner. I would come down on Saturday to pick it up, so won't be a lawn ornament! Will let you know as soon as I hear back from them.

I know it's been sold but if you find another in that area, I can help.

I work in the next town over and travel all day for my job. I basically cover Western LI, the five boroughs, Westchester, and northern NJ (Hudson, bergen, Passaic and on occasion Morris and Essex Counties).

I can check out any of those areas with a day or so notice. Or I can go further on the weekends if necessary.

Thanks Guys, much appreciated. I do a Porsche Craig's List search on the Eastern Coast every day looking for stuff. Since the 4Runner waterpump went, and knowing I've got to weld on rear quarters soon, been looking for CHEAP 90-95 4Runners.
