European Pelicans. Who are you? Where do you live?

Me, Paco and Stijn have a preliminary idea of a European meeting. Its just a thought, but in any case it would be interesting to see how many European Pelicans there are and where you are located.

Hi there . Don't know will I meet the criteria of being European Pelican, but i concider myself one.....
Originay I am from Lithuania. Last 10 years reside in NY until bought a house in NJ. Still my roots in Old Continent.
I know it would be difficult for me to attend EU meets, but I wish too........

A couple of years ago we had a clever world map, were it was possible to pinpoint small dots of our locations. Anyone know how to fix a Europe map like that for this thread? Be easier to get a quick view were we all are located.

Madrid, Spain. Far from everywhere.

I think I'll have to fly and rent a Porsche

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=111196495960896847816.0004604a86fdc62704275&ie=UTF8&ll=61.227957,18.28125&spn=21.24577,78.75&z=4

I can't link the map, but I think it can be edited and new people added. Marcus, I put you in the map just to see if it could be done, please edit the location to place it in the right area.

Nice work, Paco!

I am too ignorant to understand how to edit my location. I live in a small village called Vejbystrand. If thats not on the map, the nearest town is called Ängelholm. Can you edit it for me, please?

Thanks for the tip Porsche4life!

If the meeting is at Nuremberg, can I come too? I'll adopt a German accent and go by the name Klaus Von Flatubottom.

i guess somewhere in the 90'ies they decided to cut costs,
and sacked the dude who was responsible for naming the furniture

Not quite sure what happened to him, maybe he is the Stig!

"Some say, he used to name furniture for Ikea before they started using town names
All we know is, he's called, the Stig"

Thanks and you are right, Paco. Most IKEA furniture have names of different towns in Sweden or person names. One of the most popular items ever is a book case named Billy. Klippan is just 20 km from my village.

Ever bin there? If you have, wouldn't ask 'cause anywhere you go you bump into single ( or not ) girls you should be aware off. Or if you weren't aware off, they'll make their presence noticeable
I love going there or to east Russia.......shot of vodka used to go long way

Dude, i KNOW they are THERE
what i asked was: which ones can YOU, send over HERE, for the Gathering.

A bunch of dudes sitting around talking about cars and beer is all good, but it'll be hard getting dudes to travel for miles and miles just for cars , beer and other dudes... There has to be "added value".
