Finally! Porsche T-Shirts are done!

Hey Guys (and gals, actually)...the P-car related T-shirts I've been working on are finally finished and ready to ship.

You see, we thought it was about time to ditch the horrible "automotive related" Polo shirt trend, and bring you something a little "hipper" to wear at your Local PCA event, and out on the town. The name of the company is "2 Syllable Word". If you get it, you get it. If not, you don't own one.
Our shirts are American Apparel Fitted 2001 T's. They retail at AA stores for 15 bucks. They fit fantastic, and look great with a pair of jeans, with your favorite sport jacket, and behind the wheel of your flat-six powered ride. Currently we are running two designs, but there are many more in the queue. We can't wait to share our enthusiasm with other Porschephiles. Be the first on your block and buy a couple of shirts!

All shirts are $25. $5 shipping / handling PER ORDER. (That means you can buy a few, and only pay $5)

They can be ordered right now with Visa/MC/Paypal at 2 Syllable Word

Thanks for your support!

ANATOMY OF A PERFECT WHEEL

In 1966, Porsche fitted the two year old 911 with a lightweight, forged aluminum wheel. This same wheel stood the test of time and is synonymous with the "Porsche Look" The 15" Fuchs wheel is *still* lightweight at 12 lbs, and strong as can be. They truly built The Perfect Wheel, and we celebrate it with this cool, wraparound design. The wheel is a 1:1 ratio, and is 100% lifesize.

Do you have one with a cast 17" in a turbo offset?

Seriously, very nice.

Actually, I get more Chris kattan and matt Damon than I do Jimmy Fallon. But I'll take both, thanks.

Sorry Jeremy...I can get some 3XL's next time. I had to limit my sizing for the first run.

I should note that I actually have two designs. The other one features Jack Olsen's BBII (or at least a drawing of it...) and is a little racier.

Damn, does this really count as spam? I worked hard on these, and thought other Porsche folks would dig them. I even put it in off topic! I thought spam was when you were informed of something (mostly stuff you didn't want) against your will...like pop ups and email. You actually HAD to click on this, and HAVE to click to buy a shirt...

Tell you what, I'll give you some incentive in the next post:

A few of you have placed orders...thanks! One thing I forgot to mention is that we're doing a user gallery...put the shirt on and take a pic of you next to your Porsche for the website. You'll be famous in cyberspace!

OK, I'll wait for your next run to get a 3XL. What if I sent you some "blank 3XLT's" to include in that next run. Gotta say I'm a T shirt freak. It's about time someone came out with something more interesting than what the factory's putting out. Sure miss the "old days" before Porsche got so horsey about their copyright and you could get all kinds of neat Porsche shirts. PM me when you get ready to do the next run. I see you're building a "69 RSR clone-to-be" -- I'm slowly finishing mine (next step interior). Can you post a close-up or two of Jack's BBII. Sounds like that's right up my alley too.

Hey Jeremy,

I don't think you have to look far for picture's of Jack Olsen's Black Beauty. In fact, I think there's a picture of it on just about every thread of Pelican. (Seriously, do a search for it)

As far as the copyright thing...we were VERY careful and deliberate with these designs. I had them both reviewed by a trademark/copyright lawyer and they both passed muster. (The "pornsche" shirt is considered a parody, and wheel isn't even close to infringing).

Do you have a thread following your car build too?

Giggle, sorry I was referring to the above post. Yea, I've got an entire photo file in my hard drive of Jack's car. Been a real inspiration for me.

Couldn't resist, here's a pic of my "project":

Hey emptyo...another 3XLT customer here. Love the shirts and would buy one. If you do get some "big boy" shirts, the "T" is for tall and it sounds like jjwood and I would be in.

p.s. More pics of that car jj!!

Thanks,

JA

Ok guys...I'll see what I can do for the next run. I have to see if AA even *makes* a 3XLT. Just how tall ARE you guys?
