Superbowl 43...anyone going? If not...have any tickets?
I'm a die hard Steelers fan, and am looking for tickets to the game. If any of my Porsche brethren have any, please PM me and let me know...
Thanks! |
I have some, but only for Arizona fans...
:p j/k |
Well, I wouldn't worry about that too much.. Steeler Nation will show up so that it feels like a home game again, just like they did last time.
Does "Cardinal Nation" exist? ;) |
From what they are saying on the local news there are rooms still avaible.

I'm looking for tickets to the game though. I have a place to stay...

"Does Cardinal Nation exsist?" Trash talk is good-keep it up!
Even Las Vegas only gives the Steelers a 7 point advantage. http://www.casinogamblingweb.com/gambling-news/sports-gambling/nfl_super_bowl_betting_line_not_expected_to_move_m uch_50954.html I posted my prediction: Cardinals 31 -- Steelers 27 http://forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-discussions/452069-apologies-those-cold-climates-2.html Our local watering hole, Harolds Cave Creek Coral claims to be the largest "Steeler" bar in Arizona. http://haroldscorral.com/news/?page_id=252 Tickets? Try AZ Craigslist. TV stations predict prices are falling. John_AZ |
Stub Hub's prices tend to be overinflated on just about everything. Can't hurt to look though...
I agree with you guys about it being a "Steelers home game" though. It's geographically a HUGE advantage for Pittsburgh, but I also wouldn't count out the redbirds - they've been fighting with a chip on their shoulders all season long and now they've finally got the talent and perhaps more dangerous - a belief in themselves that they CAN do it. Should be an interesting game I think... A point of note - the Cardinals are THE oldest franchise in professional football and can trace their history all the way back to 1898, when they were the "Morgan Athletic Club", later becoming the Chicago Cardinals in 1920. I really think this game could go either way and haven't looked at the Vegas lines yet, but I'd suspect they're going to give Pitt the win by a TD. Not that it means anything. Really could go either way... I think the Cardinals may very well end up shocking everyone and winning it all... |

I can't figure out why anyone would actually want to go.
Seems like it is grossly overpriced, hard to move around and takes a lot of time to get into and out of the game. I'd rather watch the game at home or at a friend's house. |

Face value for the tickets is $800. An article in todays paper said this is a very good time to get tickets compared to years before (economy, teams playing , ). You should be able to get a ticket for $1300 without much trouble through sources like Craigslist, Ebay, and ticket brokers. Glad to see Steeler nation is represented. From the heart of Pittsburgh, Go Steelers.

Emptyo,
If still looking for tix, my buddy is selling a pair--pm me for the info--the tix are legit, he got them through the season-holder lottery. |
