HK customer service ist number EINZ!

well just received my HK P9S .45 back from hk georgia usa fabricken. shipped it as per ATF rules overnight fed-ex($82 inc. insurance) with a list of items i was concerned about.

as previously mentioned the MORON in grand island nebraska had lubricated this weapon like i have never seen. every stinkin inch of it COVERED in baby butt petroleum jelly. had some feed problems with rem hollow points and some winchester fmj's. both myself and younger spawn shot it and had a coupla problems and noticed safety tight.

took it basically apart up to armourers page in manual. didnt have all the zoomy tools.

shipped 1/12/09.........received today with the following:

1) 4 hk steekers -bonus
2) brand new owners manual (gun last produced in 1978)
3) hk pin-cool
4) letter describing what they did and armourers personal number and extension at hk
5) new firing pin
6) new safety
7) new buffer
8) tested by (2) people ie. sighted in.
9) 3 of my mags used during test
10) gun cleaned lubed perfect

and best of all...........I GOT A WARM FUZZY BIG TIME! AND THAT KIDDIES IS WHY I SPEND MY HARD EARNED BUCKS ON QUALITY FIREARMS!

and what did i do to celebrate????

why hell BOLSTER THE ECONOMY SOME MORE!

just bought me an HK4 100 year COMMEMORATIVE NIB UNFIRED NO MOLESTE SITTING IN PURPLE FUZZY VELVET IN A WOODEN PRESENTATION BOX!

mine is number 18 of either 500 or 2000 produced depending on who you believe. havent figured that out yet.

mine is .380 and .22 caliber. manufactured in 1971. got both kaliber test targets/tools/manual.

hk triva: HK4 comes in following calibers:

1) .380
2) .32 (7.65)
3) .25
4) .22

ie. interchangeble barrels and magazines/clips

hence the name of hk's first u.s. imported gun......THE HK4.

a german gun for a german car for a german dude!

I'm probably gonna sell or trade my Robar'ed P7. I just don't shoot it, but it's a stellar gun.

all the above was DONE FOR FREE!

im stickin with the train of thought..............RAW LAND and GUNS for investments.

screw the stock market and all its BOOFOONARY!

my land hasnt lost a penny...........and not JUAN OF MY GUNS HAS DEVALUED! EVER!

surrounding comps for 1 1/2 acres here have not gone down and guns obviously havent either.

go to hkpro.com. click on world of hk left side top. scroll down for all models. click on P9S and HK4 and noticed how alike they are on the exterior. interior two totally different designs. HK4 is similar to mauser and walther design.

P9S is totally different and follows Hk G-3 delayed roller blowback system which is the exact same as G-3/HK-91/93/94/SP-89/MP-5 design.

whats unique is NO TOOLS needed to field strip down to firing pin on any of the aforementioned models. ie MORON UND IDIOT UND DUMKOPF PROOF!

yep ya pay out the kazoo for these just like p-car parts. but if you really look at the eng. design..........its beyonnd belief.

Nice

I'm always looking for more tool reviews.

And yeah, post some pic's.

Charles, your HK was probably coated in cosmoline. All US military arms are shipped or long term stored that way. At least when i was in they were.

charleskieffner 01-22-2009 09:03 AM

thats whats weird(veird) about this. it wasnt cosmoline of which i am all too familiar with.

when we first shot it we started noticing " smegma" for the lack of a better word ozzing out of both sides of slide along rais front to rear. LIKE ALOT! then as we had feed problems we continued to wipe slime off. got thru 50 rds for the most part ok and went home and downloaded manual and tore into with a vengence as far as armorers page. this stuff looked exactly like petroleum jelly. EVERYWHERE! gobbed on under hand grip big time.

anyway HK made me happy beyond belief. what a company to deal with. customer service MUY FANTASTICO! went the extra mile on an out of production gun.

going to send my new HK4 into them also for a "looky see" and have that documentation also.

over the last 30 years i have heard alot of horror stories from gun dealers about hk doesnt give a rats ass about the civilian firearms market and only cares about military/police markets. they really did make my day yesterday when ups called me and told me i had a overnight air package from HK georgia that i had to sign for.

cant wait to take it out again. the finest .45 i have EVER SHOT!

i want juan now in 9mm. its called a group III 9mm TARGET model. has combat slide/and target slide. wooden target grips and combat plastic grips in box with all tools. these are INSANE FREEKING EXPENSIVE like $6000 now!!!!!!

but man..................what a toy that will never go belly up on you like other investments.
