Lost

why do i continue to frustrate myself with this tv show?

lm6y 01-22-2009 04:47 AM

I kinda like watching Kate walk. It kinda hipmotizes me!

ramonesfreak 01-22-2009 04:56 AM

i agree. damn she is fine. she got nice buttox!!!

slakjaw 01-22-2009 05:04 AM

This show has DERAILED

What a waste.

ramonesfreak 01-22-2009 05:07 AM

probably derailed prior, but really got me annoyed when hurley got that VW bus running by poping the clutch after it laid on its side in the jungle for how long? ...oh wait, its a magical island. what am i thinking.

its really too bad because the overall concept for the show is very interesting

Buckterrier 01-22-2009 05:21 AM

I lasted 4 maybe 5 episodes the first season and saw the light. The worst popular show EVER. It po'ed me to no end EVERY friggin' week you were supposed to get answeres. All that happened was more fringgin' questions came up without answering the others
But yeah that chick is hot no doubt.

rammstein 01-22-2009 05:49 AM

They are using the old boobie trick- EVERYTHING is ok if there's boobies...

Damn boobies.....butts too...

jwhcars 01-22-2009 05:51 AM

I gave up on it ......to many questions and not enough answers per episode.

My only input is that the commercials have become increasingly annoying.

CJFusco 01-22-2009 06:15 AM

You people are crazy. I hate most television, but my brother got me Season One for Christmas. I was instantly entranced. I find the show incredibly compelling, and very detail-oriented.

And yes, I am actually already caught up.

+1 on the commercials. I was actually buying the episodes on iTunes last year to skip the 20 minutes of commercials...

I like Lost. It's one of the very few shows I watch on TV. It seems to be one of the few shows on prime-time TV that actually spurs some critical thinking. It's like a soap opera, though, because if you don't watch it on a regular basis, most of what happens isn't going to make as much sense.

VincentVega 01-22-2009 06:28 AM

This is Kate? Can you watch it on mute?

Network TV is the opiate of the masses...

vash 01-22-2009 07:08 AM

kate is smokin! i gave up on the show prior to last season.

In general, I agree... but there are always exceptions to the rule.

i dont hate it..i am afterall, still watching it. im frustrated. there are aspects of the show that i find very annoying.

for example:

Person A will say to Person B, "what is happening?".
Person B will respond to Person A, "I don't have time to tell you".
Person A will demand that person B explain and
Person B says, "If I spend the time to tell you now, we will run out of time". Person A says, "we are not going anywhere until you tell me what is happening". Person B says "OK, ill tell you quickly, but you wont understand".
Person A says, "no, you will tell me everything".
Person B says, "but you will think I am lying".
Person A makes aggressive move towards Person B, Person B gives 5 second explanation that would have been adequate from the beginning

I find this happening in almost every single scene...at least last night I did

I cant ***** about the commercials because I could always wait for netflix i guess

Overall I find the show very interesting, though at times, poorly written and poorly edited and very often, poorly acted. But hey, i am still watching and there is no other TV show i watch on a regular basis

I'm still hanging in there... I could never be one of those obsessed fans who go to the Lost fansites and hypothesize about what's going on, however. I'm not trying to figure it out... just along for the ride. It's Sci-Fi with heart... I can't resist it.

Yes, Kate's beautiful... but don't forget about the mesmerizingly intriguing Juliet... I'm generally not into blondes at all, but I pretty much go into a mild trace when...

...wait... what were we talking about?

vash 01-22-2009 10:24 AM

do you think juliet could be trinity's twin (from matrix)?

man i must resist this show....must resist.......!

Actually, I meant the "Lost" commercials that come on when I'm watching something else. I have never seen the show. Kate looks cute though.
