I thought she was hot until...
 

Kind of young for me but a lot of guys at work who are my age or even older really dig her. Yesterday in the break room she came in wearing a suit jacket and a skirt. We all commented how nice she looked and asked if she was having an interview or something because she's all dressed up. She said nah, just want to try a different look is all. Well it worked because she looked even better than before. That is until she took off her suit jacket and revealed her hairy pits sticking out of her sleeveless blouse. Talk about having Chaka Khan in a head lock!

I think if I lived in a cave and didn't bathe for a couple of years, my pits still wouldn't look that unkempt. I dunno. Some of the fellas didn't seem to mind when they saw the jungle. Wouldn't have been half as bad if she didn't use a solid antiperspirant. Looked like brocolli with cheese. Just plain nasty!

Ah, yer just a programmed victim of Madison Ave.'s "ideal image" dictums. If you were raised in Europe (or a whole lot of other places, as far as that goes), you wouldn't give it a second thought. You might even find it a bit weird that "American women shave their WHAT?"

I've heard a rumor that, now that male cosmetics and plastic surgery are becoming the thing, us guys might end up having to shave OUR pits if we don't wanna drive off the ladies. :D

I don't mind a bit of jungle, but within reason.

It gives me the same feeling as shoving my hand into a dense shrub. Who knows what's in there.

The female hairy armpit stigma is very much an American and British thing, most definitaly not European. I've never liked my daughter flashing her furry pits to the world, thankfully as she's gotten older she's started acting a little more lady like and often prunes them in season. She usually has full wax jobs in swimsuit season but has absolutely no qualms about very skimpy suits even if she hasn't.

It is funny, being into cycling, there is a lot of peer pressure to shave your legs...

Then you'll probably like the Madonna pictures at the Christies Auction.

My stepdtrs are hair phobic...the are not particularly swarthy, but shave their legs all the way to their hips, pits, etc (I suppose). But the thing that gets me is they shave their arms. They started this when they were in their early teens. Their hair on their arms is very sparse and blonde, so it escapes me why they do this. I just wonder what its gonna be like if they ever decide to stop.

May have something to do with the air brushed images of celebrities plastered every where in our culture.


BUT...given my new attitude that unless something directly affects my quiet enjoyment of my house, I don't get, nor do I want, a vote. Sure has made my life easier;)

Fat guys in speedos and fat women in bikinis are also European, doesn't mean I want to see them. :D

I beg to differ.
I'm not saying that we don't have those around here, sadly, we do.
But I never saw so many beached whales in my life then during my holiday in the states. Man do you guys have fat people over there. (No personal grudge, really)
And yes, we have hairy pitted women here also, but only in France...
