Scientists solve 'The Italian Job' cliffhanger

I know a lot of you watched and enjoyed this movie (the original one). I know I did. Remember the bus with the gold in it teetering on the edge at the end of the movie? They came up with some interesting solutions to the problem.

why so difficult? toss the gold in the canyon, exit the buss safely
then go mountaineering for the Gold...

Safety First, Gold Later

I always though they should have moved everybody right to the front and sent the lightest guy out the front to pick up rocks. Load up the front of the bus with rocks until they could send the light guy to the back to bring the gold forward one bar at a time.

Why they need 'scientists' to come up with anything is beyond me.

Too many scientists with too much time on their hands...

Well said! I had the same idea when I first saw the movie aged 9, so I'm sure we don't need scientists!

Thanks!

That's probably the only sensible thing I've ever said on here. :)
