I'd definitely be in trouble trying to hang with these guys...

Watched "the Hustler" and "Tthe Color of Money" back to back a few nights ago. Made me want to pick up a cue again. Not that I could do any good with it, tho.

Did you ever take your pool road trip during the remodel ? (that was right...during a remodel?)

Yeah, I did...but I don't play for money. I know I'm a lousy pool player, which makes it awfully hard for anyone to hustle me.

Some of those playing bit parts in "the color of money" are at the Derby City classic now.

Oh...I did "lose" a hundred...played a guy a game of 9 ball for $100. He even gave me the break, and I still lost. Yep. "lost" to my honorary nephew Matt.
He's a son of my deceased best buddy David. ;) He got married this year, baby on the way... I was kind of proud of my 3 ball run...before he cleared the table.
(edit)...Playing Matt, there was no gamble involved...it was just more fun than handing him the money, which I was going to do anyway.
