Phoenix residents- restaurant recommendations?
Hi guys,
On the plane to Phoenix with two co-workers and would like a restaurant recommendation around downtown... Some place good and fun that won't piss off corporate when we expense it. Someone recommended Tarbells, but it looks a tad pricey. Would love to meet upwith some of you, but not traveling solo. Thanks for any suggestions, Neil |

For more casual (less expensive) & close to downtown there is Cooperstown (Alice Cooper's Restaurant). Dan Majerle and Amar'e Stoudemire (Phoenix Suns) also have their own restaurants downtown that are pretty good: Majerle's Sports Grill & Stoudemire's Downtown. They are both off of 2nd ST. I'd probably give the nod to Majerle's though. Cibo's Pizza is really good. Hard Rock Cafe is not far from the airport either (across the street from Stoudemire's).
