It always amazes me to watch guys on that track,, seems scary narrow. I wonder how long it would take to learn it.. too damn long with too many turns ..
The end of that straight away was a scary braking zone..

The Manthey Racing RSR's (they run more than 1) lap the old part of the ring, shown in that Vette video, in around 7 minutes flat. In traffic. For 24 hours. They also use, as in the video, the F1 part of the track, which is where the pits are located.

todd I was thinking the exact same thing. The come in awfully fast for those S turns to slow you down. I can only imagine someone braking way to late and then slamming into the wall at 150 mph. There is absolutely no runoff. SCARY.
