SIG P228 smaller grips?
Anyone know of a good rubberized grip for the Sig P228 that is a little smaller than the stock. The back of the grip is a little too "rounded" for me and is the only bit that's not quite 100% comfortable.
Thanks! |
Hogue or Pearce are the only ones I know of. Pachmyars are thicker. I think SIG now has custom thin grips too. The guy who sold me my P239 used a solder gun to stippled the factory grips and it came out pretty well. Might want to try that if you have a packup set.

I have Hogue grips on my Beretta 92FS and my Sig P239 and I really like them.

I really like the stock grips except for the "hump" at the back. Just makes the whole thing feel bulky. I saw Hogue grips but nothing that I liked so far.

I have a Hogue on my P226. Love it, but yes, it is quite round and bulky.

That's just the thing, a little bulky. Wondering if I should just have one made or modified for me. Would be worth some extra $ for the comfort. Maybe I just need to spend more time with it, I fired a buddies Kel-Tec 380 on the same trip. 15 rounds through that beat my hands up more than a full box on the P228. It was so small, especially around the trigger guard...
