Trench for the oil leaks?
;) |
Just curious as to what's going in place. Are you going to brick it? Doesn't seem like there is a need for a oil drain, that's a 924, not a 911.:D

For when the MFI 911 gets going:-D

Putting in a moat?
|
Here in Texas we have torrential downpours. And the existing drainage in the driveway really can't handle all the water. It would all drain right into the garage putting about and inch of water in it. Can we say shop vac time? So just cut a trench 1 ft wide by 6 inches deep, tie it into the drainage system, and voila no wet garage.
Had to do this before we put in a scissor lift. |
Finally finished getting the trench dug out. Whew my back hurts.

You had electrical lines down there, or is that pvc for the sprinklers, or both? Surely the sprinkler power was shut down prior to jack hammering. I'd check the sprinkler system for water leaks.
Edit: It's been awhile, the grey pvc is conduit, and through it runs the electical power to the valves. I'm sure you checked for leaks though. Cool project, I also enjoy the Saturday work with my father. |
