I can vouch for the thing, I just ran my pawn shop for a week with one after an ice storm hit.

I see them in the winter Northern tool catalog for $999 shipped.
I got mine at a somewhat better price, was un-redeemed a few years back.

Make mine a Volka Martini next time the lights go out.

Shaken not stirred.

Don't bother with that cable lock unless you're gonna wrap one end of it around your ankle or something. From the user comments:

we loved our eu2000i generator until we discovered that the handle had been busted with a blunt object and it was stolen. it was chained thru the handle the chain was untouched. i think honda needs to prevent theft on the eu2000i by inserting some kind of steel bar inside the plastic handle.

Etching your name isn't gonna do much good either. Let's say you're camping and you go on a hike. Some dude takes it, drives home... maybe in the next state. Doesn't matter if your name is on it... even if everyone camping in that area is registered by name and driver's license, nobody's going to go investigate each person who drove out of the gate while you were hiking.

;)

Solution:

Niko-pressed fittings on a cable that is attached to a metal plate with a hole through a 12mm bolt on the exhaust. Isn't fool proof, but will slow down the average smash and grab POS. Lock the other looped end with a sturdy padlock.
