Australian Grand Prix 2009
I'll be heading to Melbourne late March for holiday during the Australian F1 Grand Prix weekend. I am planning to purchase a general admission ticket for one of the qualifying days. For those who have attended the event, can you guys point out to me good viewing areas to watch the race.
Aside from visiting the standard tourist destinations, are there any Porsche auto/accessory shops within the metro-line worth visiting? As I collect Porsche diecast models, can you guys also recommend shops to visit?

I can't really help but these are some pics that my son sent me from his seat in last year's race. It looks like he was right at the start of the pit entrance.
