I know that I'm not the only Animal lover here, and this is a chance to help out as it is very cold in FL. this week.

Caboodle Ranch
Caboodle Ranch is a 30-acre north Florida cat rescue established by Craig Grant in 2003. Unwanted and abused cats are never turned away, and the ranch provides a permanent loving home for them. As a non-profit organization, Craig relies solely on your donations to keep the ranch going. He has LOTS of cats, so his veterinary and feeding expenses are immense, and it is only through your generosity that he is able to save hundreds of lives every year. Craig does without so that his cats are healthy and happy, and every dollar counts. There is no such thing as a small donation.

My cat's pissed.

I just gave a donation. Thanks for bringing it to our attention :)

We have a similar local foundation, the Make Each One Wanted (MEOW) foundation, I volunteered there a couple times, my wife volunteers regularly as well. We have helped out with their day-to-day operations as well as assisting during fundraisers and other events. It really takes a _LOT_ to keep a place like that going. Everybody in the area should appreciate their presence and try to help out even if its just a little. I don't know if that location offers what MEOW does, but here they also offer adoption services. Rather than going to a pet store and buying a cat this is a far better option.

Zero10? Same deal here, only it's called safehaven humane society...

Thanks guys, I also help out a few other local no kill shelters. By helping animals, I don't have the problem that Wayne encountered.

My kits are happy to be inside today, no one even sat in any of their window perches. Please try & keep this thread up, as this guy is giving a home & care to many kitties who other wise might not make it:(

Awesome cats. I just lost my beloved Bonnie a week and a half ago (still quite painful). I'd love to adopt another soon, but I need to heal a bit first. I donated a lot of the medications and prescription foods and things I was using to care for her back to our local vet's wildlife care program and I'm looking into volunteering at a local no-kill shelter since I've got some time now (not much, but some). I'll see if I can make a donation (money is awful tight right now due to the layoff, but I'm sure I can spare some).

Best of luck to you - thanks for sharing - I'm a cat lover (dog lover too, but haven't been able to have one in years). They're awesome.

That is awesome, I will make a donation tonight as well. So nice to see people out there who are willing to help animals.

Jeff, we don't get a choice, they chose us, I'm sure it won't be long before you are adopted again. My newest one (Annabell, the white one with a black mask) is training me to take her out on a leash (all my cats are indoor) she goes to the front door, I get her leash, she runs to me and waits until I put it on (she will follow me from room to room, until I hook her up) then leads me to the door and out side.
