photos of you driving Mulholland

While driving my favorite section of west Mulholland Hwy (between the Rock Store and Kanan Rd.), I came across a guy taking flash photos below the overlook. There was a sign proclaiming "rockstorephotos.com". Sure enough today on the website there was a photo of my car in thumbnail form. They are for sale. I think I'll check it out.
I thought some of you might want to know. Google 'em.
Let me add ,in case this sounds like an add, I have no idea who this is. I just thought it was cool for us guys who love our cars.

He's been around for a while. We never see him though. Flieger seems to have a subscription with him.

Guy has a good idea for making a little $

Wonder if locals might be taking photos to show to law enforcement, though (or use this guy's site to ID cars)

I just had one of those "Why didn't I think of that" moments. Great site.

It's a neat idea and there are plenty of great photo-op spots on Mulholland, but any photographer has to be very careful about selling (for profit) photos showing recognizable likenesses of people without having obtained a model release from them. The odds of getting sued or whatnot are slim, but I wouldn't take the chance, personally.

Considering the fact that he's mainly taking pics of motorcycles (and that we have a helmet law in CA), it's unlikely anyone's going to sue him. I know he's taken a couple pics of me, but I've never taken the time to go look up his site.

I was on a business trip last year out at China Lake, CA [could tell ya - but have to kill ya]... stopped by a high school buddy [high school - VA military school] and he is a Very successful lawyer in LA.. has a Audi R8.... we do some driving on the twisties [me at the wheel - he keeps saying more/faster]...

I drove Tapangia Canyon and Mulholland in my rental car at a sedate speed in the end on my way back to the east coast....

nice road...

would like a do-over in my 80 SC
