Currently 4.

KC, for Kitty Cat, wife calls her Casey, her superhero name is The Masked Avenger

Turok, homage to a video game we were developing at the time, otherwise known as Dumb or Rockhead

Gandalf, cause he's Grey, also known as Dumber or Gandalf the Gay cause we think he is

Peaches, she came with it, AKA Peakie cause my then 3 year old could not pronounce Peaches when we rescued her, Peakie morphed into Freaky cause she's a polydactyl (extra toes which gives her something very close to an opposable thumb that she uses like human hands) also Freaky because she does not/can't meeow, just makes this horrible evil spitting raspy noise.

Others RIP

Tabby, the 1st, the ultimate cat

Maximillian, Max, had him a short time but enjoyed every minute

Puff, after the Magic Dragon, one puff and she could magically clear a room

Morhle, Mo, the drool cat

Radar, Mo's daughter, named for her freakishly large radar dish like ears as a kitten

Diablo, cause he was just that

Sadie, short for Mercedes, superhero name Bat Cat

How about LB, for Little Bastard?
He is about the same silvery gray as a 550....

I used to have a kitty that looked like that. His name was Hobbes. He was a good guy. After almost 2 years, I still miss him a little.

our cats were always outside cats that would bring home dead 5 foot long snakes.

they were always named Kitty. and they came when called, even when far away in a field or in the woods.

my daughter brought home a stray one day.... we ended up needing a name; I said, "Chinese Food" and they came up with "Crispers"; Ha! We had that good 'ol boy for years. He was a cool cat.

Our grey cat is Gandalf.

Rick V 02-07-2009 04:47 AM

My Big Grey cat is named Panzer, as in she goes through things and not around them.

equality72521 02-07-2009 05:05 AM

I had a cat named woof. I would use that one again if I ever got another one.

Thanks everyone for all your great ideas. I won't declare a winner just yet, but I really like some of these suggestions. BR, LB, Hobbes, The Stig, Gandalf, Avus, all very appropriate.
