My friends roommate won the lottery about 20 years ago. He stayed up all night looking at his ticket and in the morning asked my friend Randy "Do these numbers look the same to you as they do to me".
MoFo won the lottery. We couldn't believe it.

Anyways back on topic.
He married the real estate agent that showed him his first house.
What a dumbass.

I would say she won the lottery, not him.

10-12 years ago my neighbor won the Big Spin Lotto here. Won $1.1M, but since after tax was <$1M he got to take it in a lump sum. Took home $893K. He had 1 year to go on a 20 year pension, so he kept working. He probably paid of his house. But other than that, the only ostentatious thing he did was buy a riding lawnmower - for his 1/4 acre lot!!!! I remember it had a swiveling beer holder on the dash. Pretty cool old guy - it hardly changed his life at all - I'd call that lucky!

"Dan was a single guy living at home with his father and working in the family business. When he found out he was going to inherit a fortune when his sickly father died, he decided he needed a wife with which to share his fortune. One evening at an investment meeting he spotted the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Her natural beauty took his breath away. 'I may look like just an ordinary man,' he said to her, but in just a few years, my father will die, and I'll inherit $65 million.'
Impressed, the woman obtained his business card and three days later, she became his stepmother.
Women are so much better at financial planning than men."
