I have worked in a few telephone switches that were supposedly EMP proof, one in particular had 3 exterior walls. Would it survive? I dunno. I have an old Hammarlund tube radio that I would bet big $ would survive but that's not why I bought it.. I bought it for the cool factor. Not that I would be able to power it up if there was a nuke going off.
In all honesty if there was a nuclear war, I would hope to be vaporized in the first attack because life after would be horrible to say the least. |
