$10 bottle of wine of the week
Terra Noble Carmenere, 2005 Reserve, made in Chile.
MUST open the day before you want to drink, or decant for some time. one day after opening it's silky, smoky, lot of fruit but none are prominent, though blackberry if I had to choose one. at $11.99, hard to beat with a rib-eye. |
Thanks, Shaun.
Another for those with access to Trader Joe's: La Ferme Julien. About $6 and a steal. Who says good wine has to cost $100? It's a beverage, not a trophy. |
i am not a wine drinker, wife has some sometimes. wasnt there a $3 bottle than won best wine not long ago?

These are a few local to me,
Daniel Gehrs - 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles $9.00 a bottle when bought by the case, or $14 if bought individual. Local pick up. CLEB Wines - 2006 Evelyn Noir Syrah, Santa Barbara County, Black Oak Vineyard. Bought some from Wine Access last year for $14 a bottle when I bought 6 or more. They also paid frt. Bought 6 more at the local tasting room for the same price. For summertime a mandelina 2006 - Pinot Grigio Santa Barbara County $9 each when I bought a case. I like my local wines, and beers! :D |
Here is a Napa Cabernet that I pay $10.00 at my local wine store.
I think it had a 92 Robert Parker Rating. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1234279845.gif |
