Auto title question for AZ. guys:

I'm looking at a vehicle on eBay that was a theft recovery in AZ. and is advertised that it will have a "restored title". Is this the same as any other salvage title or does AZ. break it down into more categories?

I'm going to check their DMV website but just thought that someone here might know. TIA.

AZ has salvage titles, and restored titles. If you're car is salvaged, and you pass a level 3 inspection, then they restore the title. It is "clean", but not a clean title.

Assuming the seller is being honest, that car is transferable, registerable and street legal. If it's still a "salvage" title in AZ, the it is NOT street legal, and NOT registerable in AZ.
