I am cleaning out my shed, I just sold a CR250 and have been working on this little Husqvarna for the last couple of days. I did not do a restoration like on the 78 monkey 50 but a refresh. here are some pics.

Applying a cleaning agent

removal of plastic.

very cool. I just picked up a 4 stroke husky te410. Have the motor out getting a performance rebuild. Hope she rides as good as she looks.

Nice CrustyCheif. I have never seen a little Husqvarna MX bike. I would love to own one of the old Honda Monkeys. And, if I really had $$$ I would restore a bunch of 70's MX bikes too (CZ, Maico, Husky, Penton, Honda, etc...).

Now, who wants to buy my 1979 Honda 125 Elsinore Red Racer to complete the resto I will never be able to afford? It has new plastic, seat, DID gold rims and FOX SHOX for the rear.

Sorry about the shameless plug.

Mike

hmmmm... I had a '78 or '79 CR250 many many years ago.... quit tempting me!

Nice clean up Crusty! I also get great satisfaction out of sprucing up an older toy/vehicle.

Nice Husky those were always really cool.

I sold my 250F and a couple pit bikes (built CRF50, and a KFX80) this summer. I missed them, but didnt want to spend big bucks again builiding another CRF or on another full size. I raced for a long time as a kid but really dont ride that much anymore. So I got a chinese klx110 knock off. It's actually pretty cool. Heavy, but decent enough for the small backyard track, or riding wheelies down the street. Small stuff rocks as a adult.

New chinese pit bike
