I saw the crash on YouTube. Happened at the very end, like at 1:56, of his 2:00 ride. He crashed and walked away after doing the same stunt a while back. This time he landed on the back of his head in a very awkward position. Dangerous stuff these guys do. Amazing more of them don't suffer the same conclusion. I can only imagine what a physical mess those guys are going to be once they pass 40 years in age.

RIP Jeremy and condolences to his wife, parents, and friends.

I saw these guys a few years back in Rapid City during the Sturgis rally. They were doing their stuff in a parking lot, with two huge mounds of dirt brought in and built up into ramps. Nothing but flat parking lot in between they must have been a few stories high and at least 100 feet apart. Did I mention there was nothing but flat parking lot in between? I remember muttering to my buddy "one of those idiots is going to die doing that".

I feel for his family, but I have no sympathy for anyone who engages in that kind of risk taking. He doesn't just put himself at risk; he has a whole family of more or less unwilling participants. I know we have had this discussion before - we all assume some risk, and we must all decide what we can live with. His risk/reward ratio looks to me like it was a bit out of balance.

Yep, I watched it too..... his head/neck took one hell of a shot. I am not sure, but I think Jeremy might have been Ezra Lusk's younger brother. (Ezra was pretty good professional racer back in my racing days).

Very sad.

Unfortunately, it won't be the last. I wonder if there will ever be any kind of "pull back" in extreme sports.

The things they are doing on motorcycles, snowboards, etc. these days has reached an insane level of real danger.

The X games showed some dude doing a double back flip on a snowmobile, and the guy jumping to the top of that tower in Vegas and then dropping in on the other side. I found myself holding my breath watching those stunts. Different breed of person.

wow just viewed the video.. really graphic I agree with Jeff the risk/reward ratio just isn't worth it ..
