Sweet Zombie Fort:

I'm set, as long as they don't get me on the way up. My buddy just moved into this pad up in the hills above L.A. where I'm doing a little work and he invited me up to man a gun when the riots happen. It's about as far up and off the beaten trail as you can get in L.A., top of hill then several miles down a private road with only one way in or out. (Driving). House sits on a pod of land with steep drops on every side. Former owner was killed 6 months ago when his housekeeper/caretaker drove the Range Rover off the side of the driveway and landed on a carport several hundred feet straight down. (With him in it).

They would have to make it past hundreds or thousands of well-armed hill-dwellers up several miles of uphill climb before they even got anywhere close. In '92, (worst urban riots in modern U.S. history), they never even got near the foothills.

Yeah, baby!

Cool place. It's too bad for you guys that zombies aren't like normal humans. But you will last longer than most folks.

Excuse my ignorance...but what is a property like that worth?

The shot of the driveway and your 996 is cool.

I'm going out on a limb here when I guess "millions". I think the effect is more accurate if you can imagine Dr Evil saying it with his pinky in his mouth. Or maybe Carl Sagan repeating it a time or two.

I can think of one that's a bit better, up on Mulholland. Zombies better be able to get through a lot of cactii.

Believe it or not, this house just changed hands for $560k. It's a tiny, (800 sq.ft.), 1 BR house and it was pretty tawdry. They dumped $40k into it, mostly on landscaping+ painted it and cleaned it up. It's a charming little bachelor pad now, really beautiful.

No guard rail needed if you possess even rudimentary driving skills. The housekeeper was a really bad driver. Unfortunately it cost her her life. She went off the side of the driveway in the foreground of the picture that sniper posted above. You'd really have to be trying to do that.

My buddy is a class A gearhead from England, drives a ~300hp modded '09 Mini and two rocket bikes+ a Lancia back home that was the WRC car for a while back in the '90s. He can also shoot a rifle.
