My foot is "creaking".
My right foot started hurting between the ankle and toes (so the top of my foot) about 4 or 5 days ago. The pain comes when I walk on it or bend my toes. This was fine and dandy until yesterday. Now my foot "creaks" when I bend them. What is going on with my foot? I don't even recall injuring it, but a search on the web revealed that it may be scar tissue.
Has anyone here experienced something similar? |
I have anti inflamatories for anything wierd like this and it usually works. I use Voltaren. I guess you guys have it too. Good luck.

Health insurance? co-pay might = answers/direction
Could be a bad diet, which negates 22yrold vitality... |
I do have health insurance. I plan on going if it doesn't get somewhat better by the end of Sunday.
My diet consists mostly of canned soup (Progresso and Chunky) and sandwiches. Plus I take a multi-vitamin and some extra potassium daily (to help after weight lifting). It may be my size catching up to me... 6' 3" 217lbs. |
Doing heavy lifting? I'm 23 and occasionally suffer the same problem, but I power lift.
|
I have had the same issue with my right knee except it doesn't hurt. It comes and goes.
Try eating some good, greasy barbque pork |

Good luck though. |
I also doubt your size is catching up to you. I'm not having any real issues (occasional creak after squat days, etc.) and I'm 6', and 265.
You should enlighten us as to your lifting habits........if your squatting 400+ routinely, then yeah that could be the issue. |
Your foot is like any other part of your body. You can get a joint out of place. I have a recurring discomfort along the top line of my right foot, localized pretty much right between the knuckle of my big and 2nd toe. Old quad riding injury.
Anyway, whenever it bothers me I just grab the foot work it to get the joints back in place. Right foot in lap, place right hand so thumb is under arch going across bottom of foot, fingers going across/over top of foot. Left hand, thumb under ball of foot fingers going across knuckles of toes. Gently but firmly push away with right hand, pull towards body with left and kind of work it a bit till everything drops back into place. Basically chiropractic on the foot. |
