To all you Craigslist lurkers looking for Pcar STUFF!
All you lurkers on Craigslist looking for Pcar bargain stuff, checkout this site, which gives you the ability to search all cities within a specified mileage radius.
http://www.craigshelper.com/ I'm sure a lot of folks already are aware, but I discovered it just recently, and it's been a big help. Try it, real cool!! |
I have used it a lot, but I also find that it fails to find parts advertised for sale that I can find in individual CL searches(!)

I had a site that I lost when my hard drive crashed. I can't find now, but it had a list of cars at the top and you clicked on the car you wanted. It brought up all the for sale cars and parts on craigslist. It didn't have a huge list of cars but whomever ran the site said to e-mail him if you wanted a car added. The were listed specifically: 911,964,993, Dodge Charger, VW GTi, VW Corrado etc. Wish I could find it. It was much better than the site listed above (which I do use).

I just enter Porsche in the search argument for "for sale", and it seems to bring up everything Porsche related.

totally awesome!
That saves a bunch of time. Thanks for the heads up! |
Also, try crazedlist. Allows you to search entire states, areas (NE, SW, Midwest, etc.) or multiple areas. Very helpful

I use Crazedlist all the time to find cars/parts, etc. You can pull up as many or as few regions as you would like, and can specify price range, etc. I recently found a mint car in Florida that way and when I went to pick it up it was not only a great price but in excellent shape. I never would have found it without spending all week doing it the hard way on Craigslist.
The first time you use it it gives you the instructions for how to use it by disabling RSS feeds, whatever those are. I followed the steps and it works great. Apparently Craigslist is offended that people out there are trying to improve upon it. Using Crazedlist saves you HOURS/days versus typing in everything city by city on Craigslist. |
Is it crazedlist.com? I can't get it to work........
|
|
It's crazedlist.org.
You need to use mozilla or another browser, I never could get it to work with Internet Explorer (and just why was I still using that???). e btw, don't click on all the states at once, just one region at a time. |
Crazedlist is an awesome tool.
