Where are the fun / senic roads in Minnesota?

Warm weather is coming! I want to rent a motorcycle when it gets to about 60 or so. Where are some of the windy or more scenic roads out here?

Up North.

Once you get up towards Duluth, the scenery gets interesting. Curvy roads with hills, and that little pond the locals call Lake Superior.

go across the river into wisconsin and head for Vernon county. Draw a circle over a 50 mile radius and start driving. Plenty of back country twist roads which are fairly deserted. Since there are Amish in the area watch out for the steaming piles of fresh horse poop because a buggy is just around the next corner.

Head South from I94 near the St Croix on 95 into Afton on the MN side and head towards Treasure Island. Or 35 on the Wisconsin side til south of Prescott. Bluffs and rivers make good scenery, and good elevation change and turns. Also the area around Taylor's Falls / Osceola can be fun. Ask the Harley riders where their fun runs go, and most are around there.

In Wisconsin. (As others have correctly pointed out). On the way to our cabin from the twin cities, we go north on 35 to Hinkley and then turn east into WI. on the 48. (I think). As soon as you cross over into WI., the roads get better.

I love MN. and all but the roads are just dead boring. Table-top flat and straight as a laser, everywhere. One big grid. It's like that in a lot of the midwest. When I got my 996 in MN., I seriously could not see the point of a sports car there. It was boring. Here in L.A., I have fun driving everyday. Canyons and curvy roads everywhere. That state has other charms but fun roads are not one of them.

Yep, MN roads are straight and flat. Nothing to see here...

Just a sample of the Mississippi valley roads in SE MN:
